Social studies on the Spanish Golden Age, further more the Humanism and the Historiography, and the making of the protonational identity forms.

Social study of the cultural forms, mostly those written during the Renaissnce and the Late Renaissance.

Biographies of the humanists, the cultural intermediaries and the makers of the cultural images.

Objectives: Study of the social aspects of the way of living of chroniclers and the ideological of the Golden Age historiography in relationship with the eruopean ones. Study of the personal introspection and the making of the collective identity trhough the first person writings, such as diaires, memories and epistolaries of kings, chronists ans ambassadors.
