The aim of the Institute of History is to carry out research into the remote or near past, to generate knowledge and to contribute to historical knowledge - as a critical tool - playing an important role in today's society, as well as providing the tools to tackle the challenges linked to identities, the coexistence of cultures, globalisation, migrations and environmental crises.
